- A valid passport from an NZeTA-eligible country.
- A digital photo and a clear photo — required in the official online application.
- A valid email address to receive your NZeTA grant.
- Proof of funds — the New Zealand government may ask for this after submission.

Fees & processing time

Validity & conditions
- Validity: this is a multiple-entry authorisation valid for up to 2 years (or until your passport expires, whichever is earlier).
- Multiple entries are allowed while the NZeTA is in force.
- Allowed stay: up to 90 days per visit (extended to up to 6 months per visit for UK citizens).
- A visitor authorisation — work and study are restricted.
